Hi race fans, Some interesting facts about this C5 chassis is that GM has made only 20 units in total and sold all of them for $20,000 each. This whole idea came about because Doug and Dave Hill, the C5 Corvette Chief Engineer, sat down last September at the Bowling Green event and came up with the idea of an inexpensive Corvette that would be purpose built for racing so you wouldn't need to take a brand new car and strip it down. Thus this chassis, drive train and engine was offered to the public on a limited basis
