Precise weight transfer is critical for optimum acceleration, braking and cornering. DRM brackets alter the trailing arm mounting point locations taking some of the anti-squat out of the Corvette. The additional weight transfer results in improved traction. Improvement will be realized at autocross, road course and drag racing events.

Rear Camber Brackets

DRM Rear Camber Brackets
for C4 Corvettes

The amount of tire in contact with the road determines grip. DRM brackets relocate the camber arms mounting point locations reducing camber change throughout the full range of suspension travel. The added traction these brackets provide will be realized at autocross, road course and drag racing events.

Rear Steering Knuckle

DRM Modified Rear Steering Knuckles
for C4 Corvettes

Quicker acceleration out of corners is the result of the modifications made by DRM to stock rear steering knuckles. Correct suspension geometry and rear toe are maintained to increase traction under cornering. Improvement is best realized at autocross and road racing events.

Developed on DRM race cars, these polyurethane bushings hold their shape under heavy acceleration, extreme braking and high G-force cornering. Maintaining their shape under heavy load means suspension geometry stays constant, resulting in improved handling and better braking. As an added bonus, these bushings deliver a smoother ride over stock rubber bushings because they allow the suspension to move more freely.

DRM now offers high performance sway bars for the 1997-2004 C5 Corvettes.
Available in both "Sport" and "Race" versions, these sway bar sets will give your C5 Corvette a more stable ride by dramatically reducing body roll. The "Sport" set reduces roll by up to 50% over a the FE-3 or F-45 suspension. Even the Z51 sway bars can't resist roll like these can. For more serious autocrossing and high speed road courses we recommend the more aggressive "Race" sway bars. These are the bars used by GM for the T1 series racing and are included on our potent C500/RSR street/race car.

The stock chassis is flexible by nature and can limit suspension effectiveness. DRM StifferChassis bars significantly reduce chassis flex and increase both cornering capabilities and maneuverability. All bars are hand-built and jig fabricated for an exact fit. DRM bars do not inhibit entry/exit or rear vision. (Tubing Specifications: 1.75-inch dia., .095-thick seamless tubing)

Six-Point Harness

Crow Racing Harness

The lap belts attach to the stock seat belt mounts and normal use of the stock belts is not inhibited. The shoulder belts attach to the DRM StifferChassis bar and the anti-submarine belts attach to the seat track mounts/floor, and are brought together with a quick release fastener. Perhaps the greatest advantage with this harness is that the steering wheel is used solely for steering and not for lateral support of the driver in high G-force corners.

S.F.I. certified harness offered by DRM is designed specifically for use in Corvettes, and Camaros that are fitted with a DRM StifferChassis bar.
