The Route 66 Corvette Show has come and gone and we all had a great time meeting with Corvette enthusiasts from around the country. Many people showed up to see a wide variety of events like drag racing, car shows, tech talks and autocross.

Now that's a cool plate!

We at DRM would like to thank all the people that stopped by our tent and to all the Corvette owners that drove long distances to attend.

C500/RSR serial #001 on display

This year we had a C500/RSR signed up for autocross and just like last year it blew everyone away. It seems nothing can stop the RSR car. The closest any could come to it's best time was 2 seconds away. That's alot of time for a short course. Interesting enough, last year Kev Derderian from Lake Forest, IL a local hot shoe drive Steve Melnick's C500/RSR and won hands down, this year Steve drove his car and blew 'em all away. Steve also let Frank Cummings a competent Corvette driver take his car out and not surprisingly Frank turned the second fastest time of the weekend out of hundreds of cars. So if you want to be at the top of your autocross list, give us a call and we'll get you there in a hurry.
