Myself and Doug have just returned from the C5 Birthday bash at the Corvette Museum and what a great time we had. Plenty of people showed up and everyone was curious about the capabilities of our new DRMC500/RSR that was on display there. We met with many Corvette enthusiasts who showed interest in modifying their cars with engine, brake and suspension enhancements. We also spent a little time at the drag strip with our latest automatic package for the C5 Corvette called the DRMC500. We personally delivered a DRMC500 to John and Kerry Self of Virginia pictured below. John decided to give us his 1997 black coupe and have it upgraded to the 383 cu. in. naturally aspirated 465hp DRMC500 "stroker" engine conversion. After we delivered the car at the Corvette Museum, John immediately took it to the drag strip to test out his newly modified baby. After his first run John had a ear-to-ear grin and was ecstatic about the raw power of this car.

This is the time slip from Johns DRMC500 at the Beech Bend Raceway near the Corvette Museum. 12.389 seconds at 115.98mph is absolutely fantastic considering that this automatic car still had the street tires installed. And this was his first day in his newly modified Corvette. With drag radials or soft compound street tires and more runs, John expects times in the 11.9 second range or better. We agree.
Call DRM today and see what we can do for your C4/C5 Corvette, F-body or Impala SS.
