Red Line 10W40
Is the best choice
for engines that typically run high oil temperature. Use in engines for daily drivers
operated in very hot weather on a regular basis. Also use in high-performance
engines that see street as well as frequent racetrack duty. Thicker oil film at operating
temperature than a petro-based 20W-50. While Red Line Synthetic Engine Oils are derived
from Race Oils and are used by many racers, they were formulated specifically for street
use in all kinds of passenger cars. Red Line Engine Oils outperform all petroleum-based
oils and all other synthetics on the market today.
Red Line Engine Oils are designed to provide highest performance, best durability, ultimate protection and outstanding cleanliness along with lowest friction. Red Line uses the most stable synthetic lubricant base stocks available and formulates products for wear protection and friction reduction across a wide range of engine operating conditions. Red Line lubricants are unique because they contain polyester base stocks, the only lubricant base stock type that withstands the incredible heat present in the hot sections of jet engines. This high-temperature stability makes Red Line Engine Oils a necessity for proper lubrication of high-performance engines, turbo-charged engines, or any engine that runs high engine oil temperature. Red Line is not just for high-performance and racing. Ordinary cars and trucks that see "daily driver" duty benefit greatly when their engines are lubricated with Red Line engine oils. More performance, better fuel economy and increased durability come with use of our oils in daily drivers. Because of the robust polyester base stock and high-performance anticorrosive additive package in Red Line oils, they are ideal for use in street-driven vehicles at extended drain intervals. Red Line recommends oil changes for engines that are in good condition and do not see frequent starts without warm-ups or short-trips at between 10,000 and 18,000 miles, or every 12 months, whichever is shorter. |

Red Line SAE 30 Race Engine Oil
Red Line Race Oils have gained a reputation as the ultimate racing lubricant. Marketers of other lubricants unsuccessfully claim to be "as good as Red Line." Red Line lubricants are used by many teams who have found that the improved performance and equipment durability is the key to winning. These race oils are made with the most thermally stable synthetic base stocks available and provide the best high-temperature lubrication and a higher film strength than any petroleum or synthetic product marketed. The ability of Red Line Oil to lubricate hot metal has enabled many cars to not only finish, but to win races after losing coolant, without serious damage to the engine. Even though Red Line Race Oils are straight grades, their low-temperature properties make them exceptional multigrades. Red Line Race Oils allow 2-4% more power than an oil of similar viscosity, while providing much more protection. Each reduction in viscosity grade allows 1-2% more power. To reduce the chance of detonation, this race oil contain very few detergents and are not recommended for street use. |

SYNTHETIC ATF - synthetic Dexron II, Mercon, and Mercedes-Benz approved fluid. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. Also provides improved shifting in cold weather. D4 ATF - synthetic Dexron III and Mercon fluid meeting the requirements of most transmission manufacturers, while satisfying GL-4 gear oil requirements. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. Also provides tremendously improved shifting in cold weather. The best low-temperature shiftability for manual transmissions and transaxles which require ATFs. HIGH-TEMP ATF - synthetic ATF which is a GL-4 gear oil for use where Dexron III or Mercon is recommended. A higher viscosity allows optimal operation at 70°F higher temperature, providing better torque converter efficiency. Perfect for heavily-loaded vehicles. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. RACING ATF - synthetic ATF for automatic and manual transmissions which need the positive shift of a TYPE-F ATF. This ATF contains no slipperiness additives, producing faster shifts and quicker lock-up. A higher viscosity at high temperatures provides greater efficiency and provides better wear protection than other ATFs. |

Red Line Fuel Injector Cleaner
COMPLETE FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER is a concentrated package of the most powerful high-temperature detergents available to clean gasoline fuel injectors and intake valves. Complete Fuel System Cleaner can clean injectors to nearly 100% efficiency in one treatment. The cleansing effect on injector deposits can raise fuel economy approximately 12% or even greater, depending on the condition of the injectors. Although many gasolines advertise injector cleanliness, GM presented a paper to the SAE which indicates that their customers encountered injector plugging with all major brands of gasoline (SAE 861533). Complete Fuel System Cleaner also contains detergents and a synthetic upper cylinder lubricant which will help clean the intake valves, pollution control valves, combustion chamber deposits and carburetors. Complete Fuel System Cleaner also protects the fuel system from rust. One bottle treats up to 100 gallons. Safe for continual use. |

Red Line Water Wetter
WaterWetter® is a unique wetting agent for cooling systems which reduces coolant temperatures by as much as 30°F. This liquid product can be used to provide rust and corrosion protection in plain water for racing engines, which provides much better heat transfer properties than glycol-based antifreeze. Or it can be added to new or used antifreeze to improve the heat transfer of ethylene and propylene glycol systems. Designed for modern aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass, and bronze systems. Red Line WaterWetter is designed to provide improved metal wetting and excellent corrosion inhibition when added to plain water or a glycol coolant. The most poorly maintained system in an automobile is usually the cooling system. Maintenance is quite simple and only required once each year, but most vehicle owners never routinely change the coolant or replenish the corrosion inhibitors which are required for trouble-free operation. Proper cooling system maintenance is very critical for most modern engines which utilize more aluminum. Aluminum has a very high corrosion potential, even higher than zinc, which is very widely used as a sacrificial anode. The only property which enables aluminum to be used in a cooling system is that it will form protective films under the proper conditions which will prevent the uncontrolled corrosive attack of acids or bases. Poor aluminum corrosion inhibition will cause the dissolution of aluminum at the heat rejection surfaces, weakening the cooling system walls and water pump casing and weakening the head gasket mating surfaces. These corrosion products will then form deposits on the lower temperature surfaces such as in radiator tubes which have very poor heat transfer properties, causing a significant reduction in the cooling ability of the entire system. Red Line WaterWetter will provide the proper corrosion inhibition for all cooling system metals, including aluminum, cast iron, steel, copper, brass, and lead. Water has twice the heat transfer capability when compared to 50% glycol antifreeze/coolant in water. Most passenger automobiles have a cooling system designed to reject sufficient heat under normal operating conditions using a 50/50 glycol solution in water. However, in racing applications, the use of water and WaterWetter will enable the use of smaller radiator systems, which means less frontal drag, and it will also reduce cylinder head temperatures, even when compared to water alone, which means more spark advance may be used to improve engine torque.
