Doug Rippie Motorsports hosts a Open House Tech Day for the Classic Corvettes of Minnesota Club.

Tech Talk
Here I am explaining the process of build a race car from the bottom up.

Today we hosted a Open house for a local Corvette club and I must admit that I had a great time.  We build cars all day long and often into the night.  It is refreshing to take a brake from the daily grind to meet Corvette enthusiasts who really enjoy seeing our operation and learning about the process of making Corvettes, Camaros and Impalas go fast.

After a tour of the facility and some tech talks we put a few of the clubs member's cars on the dyno for some testing.  We quickly showed how dyno tuning can pull extra horsepower from a car just by adjusting fuel pressure and air/fuel ratios.

Afterwards we broke out the barbecue and cooked up some hot dogs and brats to feed all those power hungry Corvetters.
