This is our ultimate brake upgrade for the Corvette. Front unit is a AP Racing 6-piston caliper with a 14" slotted and directionally veined rotor. Rear is a AP Racing 4-piston caliper and 13" slotted rotor. The key to this kit is the custom DRM master cylinder and rear adjustable proportioning valve. Unlike other competing systems ours provides a high and solid brake pedal for secure braking. Kit comes complete with aluminum hats, mounting brackets, braided stainless steel/Teflon lines and performance brake pads. *AP calipers require the use of after market wheels. Please call for details

High
Performance Rotors and Hats Stock rotors will not hold up under repeated extreme braking, especially when coupled with high performance brake pads. The killer is heat. DRM’s high performance rotor and hat assemblies are race proven to take the heat. Their extra thickness can handle the extreme temperatures without warping, and their directional cooling fins rapidly dissipate heat. The billet aluminum hats also aid in pulling heat out of the rotors. All this adds up to longer life for rotors, wheel bearings, brake pads and brake fluid. |

Under even mild conditions stock brake hoses expand with every push of the brake pedal. This condition results in a soft pedal, reducing the efficiency of your brake system. In addition, when introduced to the rigors of racing, stock hoses can leak or burst. DRM’s braided stainless steel lines are designed to handle the demands of racing by also transmitting maximum fluid pressure to the calipers. Results are improved braking, a firmer pedal and increased driver confidence. Please note, we don't use factory style banjo fittings and bolts due to the risk of them getting knocked loose during track and high performance driving. |
